Origins to ramp up events

Staff shares plans to ramp up community engagement and events over the next few weeks.

Hey guys!

I just wanted to give you a bit of an idea about what I (and Macklebee and Olsoweir) have been thinking over the last month in terms of engagement and live events. As you all know, Origins went out nearly a month ago now, and I wanted to give you all a bit of space to find your footing, see what Origins was like and enjoy it without being bombarded with a ton of events. I think that now is a good time to start ramping things up, and I have a few things planned over the next 3 or 4 weeks that I hope will harken back to your old Habbo days. I know that you guys are all a little bit older and busier now, so I would really welcome feedback on how the stuff I have planned goes, and if it fits in with what you want, and what you can realistically do in the game with your lives as they are now.

When we first started this project I went into the place that we store stuff (helped by Macklebee) and found a bunchhhh of the old stuff they used to do. Some of it is pretty crazy (do you know they perm banned someone once for losing?!) and probably wouldn't fit and some of it I haven't been able to do because of bugs (but will hopefully be able to do soon.)

I also acknowledge that BR and ES haven't seen as much action as we would have liked. Some of this has been technical (I promise Habbolossa will visit one day!), but everything that I have planned for .COM is also going to take place in BR and ES. I will also visit both those Hotels for the live events, but apologise in advance for my terrible Spanish and my non-existant Portuguese.

Origins has been such a breath of fresh air, and it's so awesome how much thought you guys are putting into everything, and how much support you are giving us for this.
