Battle Ball launches on the 15th August

Macklebee, who is working on Habbo Hotel: Origins, shared more information about Battle Ball including the release date.

Hey folks,

Get your bouncers ready, Battle Ball will be launching in Origins, on the 15th August. The Red Devil can’t wait to see how the best of the best perform.

Before it gets here, here's some extra information that might help you climb the ranks.

How you play in the game is now incredibly important to how you score!

In the past, you would gain points for simply jumping on a tile, but that's no longer the case. Instead, players (excluding the locker) who jump on a tile to colour it, will get an assist point...

Whoever complete the lock will get an extra point, the points won't be given to the team until the tile is locked!

Stealing an opponents tile will grant extra points, this is to try and ensure the game is competitive! You'll need to carefully attack and defend to get max points.

Power ups are going to play a significant role too!

The harlequin power up will make your opponents colour tiles for you, they'll lose points, but you'll gain them!

Getting stunned will subtract points from your score - avoid pins on the ground.

You'll see some more promotional materials coming closer to the launch! We're excited to get this in front of you, and are just adding the final touches. We can't wait to get you into the arena.

There are additional bonuses based on your score in the game, and additional bonuses based on team score! Players who ends up as the top performers, with the top performing teams will get both a performer, and team bonuses!

The additional bonuses are also independent, you may get the team bonus (if your team does well) without the performer bonus, you may also get the performer bonus without the team bonus (if the team does not do well!)
